Led by the Governor, the Governor's Leadership Team consists of top-level state policymakers and leadership representatives from multiple state agencies, the business community and institutes of higher learning. The Leadership Team sets high-level priorities and indicates strategic objectives for the Initiative.
November 20, 2007 - The Governors Leadership Team met at the Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for a formal strategic planning session. The NGA Center for Best Practices provided an update of expectations and goals for the Pennsylvania STEM Initiative. Leadership Team members participated in small-group working sessions to discuss priorities, key partnerships and major themes of the initiative.
June 4, 2008 - The Leadership Team met at the Hilton Garden Inn, Harrisburg to discuss the Long-Term Goals. Team members once again broke into working groups and reported back on their feedback about the initiative's goals. At the conclusion of the meeting, Leadership Team members volunteered for ad hoc committees to debate each goal and work toward finalizing their respective goal.
